Brody, Brody and More Brody

My little man is almost 7 months old. Time goes by so fast, He is getting so big and it makes me so sad, although it is fun to see him grow and change, he is getting smarter everyday.

Look who can sit up!

( Lil Broster)

Brody weighs 15.5lBs and is 26 inches long
He loves loves looking out the window and as you can see he is looking at something very interesting.

HALLOWEEEN

My sisters and I at Gardner Village.

We went to a Halloween Party at Melissa Elders house. There were some really cool costumes, yummy food, fun people we had a blast.

Over the Years Taylor and I have been poor sports around Halloween so I thought this year we would dress up. A quick trip to the D.I and a wig makes for a AWESOME costume.

Brody was a little Dalmation dog. It was a wee big but he still looks so cute.

UPDATES!

We are so sad to see the warm weather go away. Brody loved to be outside. His Stroller was his second home. I'm not sure what we are going to do now that it is getting so cold outside.

Every Morning I would take him on the swing right by our house. He loved watching all the workers build the town homes.

He loved his first time in the pool. He would freak out if we put him in the water past his shoulders.

Good bye Summer...

Blessing Day.

We blessed Brody on Fathers day. Taylor was really nervous for it but did such a good job, it was a great blessing.

We were so grateful for the friends and family that came. Taylor's parents came all the way from Canada to be here and his sister Makita flew in from Boise. After church we came to my house and had a little meal with everyone. It turned out to be a really great Father's day.

What a stud! I love him

His cheeks are definetly filling out!

We fell in love with this little guy the first time we saw him, but I think as time passes and the more we get to know each other the more I LOVE him.

ANd there is always lots of cuddling!

The Greatest Unexpected Mother's day gift!!

Brody Taylor Smith Was Born May 3, 2011
Our baby boy was born 18 days early. He decided he had enough of being krinkled in a little ball.

May 3 was just supposed to be a regular old day, I was planning on just going to my weekly doctors appointments and then heading home. I was getting Non-stress test done every week to just make sure his little heart beat was good, making sure he was getting enough oxygen and they would check fluid levels. Brody had been normal every visit so I was expecting it to be the same. The nurse checked his heart beat that was great, then she started measuring fluid levels and I could tell she had to search a little harder then normal. She gets done measuring and tells me his fluid levels are at a 5 and "normal" healthy range is between a 10-24 so he was super low. The nurse told me I had to wait until a doctor could come see me to decide what to do. The doc came in and didn't even hesitate to say because of your history we want to admit you right now to have this baby. I said " RIGHT NOW Like right right now can I go home first"? He said no (well suggested No). At that moment I thought to myself no bag packed, my house a mess, Brody's room wasn't quite finished, I got so nervous at this point I wasn't ready for this I was supposed to have 3 more weeks!! I called Taylor and he rushed right over and we had our little Brody ready or not 9 hours later.

He was 6lbs 7 oz. 20 inches long. which was pretty good I thought for being 3 weeks early.
They told my I may have to have a C-section because babies that have low fluid usually don't take labor very well. He was a champ and took it great which I was so grateful for.
He was so quiet after he was born, they set him on me and he just sat and stared at me. I had been waiting so long to look into his sweet little eyes and he had them opened for me the whole time. A moment I will never forget, I still get teary eyed thinking about it :)

Proud Daddy.
Taylor always tells me how he thinks ALL babies are ugly and so he was totally planning on thinking our baby would be ugly. He hates to admit it but he thinks he is pretty cute.

We are so grateful he finally made it here safe and Healthy as can be. Every thing went so smooth. Its Amazing how much we love the little guy.

Speedy Overview

I have been meaning to post belly pics and have been putting it off as I usually do. I think its more fun to see the pics side by side anyway.

Blogging.... WHats that?

Im sure by now most people know are big news.... I am Pregnant!
I cant explain how excited I am for this little baby. When I saw its little heart beat at 6 weeks on the monitor the 7 and 1/2 months I had left seemed so far away. I always tell Taylor I can not wait for the moment I get see our little babies eyes open staring back at me. Time has gone by much faster then I thought it would. I am already 27 weeks (about six months) so I only have to wait 3 more. Things with this pregnancy are going so much better. Its so great to hear EVERYTHING IS NORMAL...
We found out what we are having and the ultrasound picture below shows it clear as day!

YES! its a boy... if you were thinking girl you need to get your eyes checked. At this Ultrasound I was 18 weeks, it was kinda funny because the ultrasound tech didn't even have to tell us what we were having she looked at us and said "ok guys what do you think you are having".

Its been fun because I get to have more ultrasounds than normal so they can just make sure everything is going ok. These next two pictures I am at 23 weeks. His little feet are up by his head he is folded completely in half. The one below is a close up of the same picture you can just see his little profile better. For some reason I find Ultrasounds so fascinating. Its wierd to think there is a little human inside of you and when you actually get to see them it makes everything become real. Well I guess the jabs to the ribs and sides should make it feel real to but its fun to see them.
Here is me at 27 weeks.
